Kohl Design 2009 Logo Contest Update
September 29th, 2009
Kohl Designs held its first annual Logo Contest this past Spring. It was open to anyone who was starting a business or needed to update their current logo. The contest requested that entries explain why they were passionate about their business. Jennifer H. of JMH-R, a recruiting/FSO/HR firm for government contractors was our winner. Jennifer started her company over five years ago. She saw an opportunity to offer recruiting support to smaller companies that could not afford it, or did not need to retain a full-time on-site recruiter, and decided to build on that need in the market. Although she was able to recognize this need, she neglected to have an established brand strategy for her company.
Award-Winning Logo
September 17th, 2009F
or the past 13 years, I have enjoyed working with clients on projects that are creatively challenging and rewarding. I love being able to help clients bring their dreams to life and to create successful products such as logos that capture the clients’ vision, or a website that draws the right attention. Being able to do this every day is amazing. Being recognized for my work is outstanding. This month, I was recognized by Graphic Design USA with an Award of Excellence for my design and illustration of the Busch Pet Products Logo. This logo was designed to be fun and whimsical, and represents the Busch Pet Products company. You will find this logo on everything, including their business cards, t-shirts, and website.
