Kohl Design 2009 Logo Contest Update

Kohl Designs held its first annual Logo Contest this past Spring. It was open to anyone who was starting a business or needed to update their current logo. The contest requested that entries explain why they were passionate about their business. Jennifer H. of JMH-R, a recruiting/FSO/HR firm for government contractors was our winner. Jennifer started her company over five years ago. She saw an opportunity to offer recruiting support to smaller companies that could not afford it, or did not need to retain a full-time on-site recruiter, and decided to build on that need in the market. Although she was able to recognize this need, she neglected to have an established brand strategy for her company.
